We believe in one Deity who exists eternally in three persons as God, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fca-refs\">(2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21)<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"fca-card navy\">\n<p class=\"fca-text\"><span class=\"fca-lead\">We believe<\/span> in God the Father, an infinite, personal spirit; the creator of all things, visible and invisible, in the heavens and on the earth, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of each person, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fca-refs\">(Genesis 1, 21:33; Isaiah 40:28; Exodus 33:14; John 4:24; Revelation 4:8; Romans 11:33-34; Jeremiah 32:17; Ephesians 1:19-20, 3:9; Jeremiah 31:3; Romans 5:8; II Samuel 24:14; I John 5:14-15)<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"fca-card\">\n<p class=\"fca-text\"><span class=\"fca-lead\">We believe<\/span> in God the Son, Jesus Christ the Savior, the only begotten Son of God, in His deity, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutionary and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His continual intercession for His people, and in His personal return in power, glory, and judgment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fca-refs\">(Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, 24:30; Mark 8:38, 16:19; Luke 1:34-35, 24:27; John 1:1, 2, 14, 18, 2:11, 3:16, 10:33, 11:25; Acts 1:11; Hebrews 4:15, 2:9, 7:26; Romans 3:23-26, &amp; 8:34; I Corinthians 15:3-4; Ephesians 1:7; Revelation 19:11)<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"fca-card navy\">\n<p class=\"fca-text\"><span class=\"fca-lead\">We believe<\/span> in God the Holy Spirit, the Helper, and Comforter, in His daily guidance and revelation of truth, in His conviction of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and in His indwelling presence at the moment of salvation, enabling believers to live godly lives.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fca-refs\">(John 3:5-8, 14:16-17, &amp; 16:13-14; Acts 1:8; I Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 4:30-32, &amp; 5:18)<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"fca-card\">\n<p class=\"fca-text\"><span class=\"fca-lead\">We believe<\/span> in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature and that men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ and that only by God\u2019s grace are we saved. Faith shows itself in obedience to Christ through repentance, confession of faith in Him, baptism, and a life led by the Holy Spirit, manifesting the Spirit\u2019s fruit.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fca-refs\">(John 3:16\u201319, 5:24; Acts 2:38; Romans 3:23, 5:8\u2013 9; Ephesians 2:8\u201310; Titus 3:5)<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"fca-card navy\">\n<p class=\"fca-text\"><span class=\"fca-lead\">We believe<\/span> that the church is the body of Christ and is composed of the communities of Christ\u2019s people. The task of Christ\u2019s people in this world is to be God\u2019s redeemed communities that embody His love by worshiping God with confession, prayer, and praise in spirit and truth; by proclaiming the gospel of God\u2019s redemptive love through our Lord Jesus Christ. To the ends of the earth by word and deed; by submitting to the authority of the Bible, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, rather than the dictates of man or ecclesiastical order. By caring for all of God\u2019s creation; and actively seeking the good of everyone, especially the poor and needy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fca-refs\">(1 Corinthians 12:12-31)<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"fca-note\">\n<div class=\"fca-rule\"><\/div>\n<p>This Statement of Faith is not exhaustive of all our beliefs.
