At Foundation Christian Academy, parents and teachers work together to create a “village” for our children. Whether you love organizing, fundraising, or simply helping where you’re needed, there’s a place for you to serve.
Getting started
We deeply appreciate our parent volunteers. Your involvement plays a vital role in enhancing the educational experience of every student.
Register with PAC
Complete the Parent Activities Committee registration and dues form.
Complete your background check
Volunteers need a Level 2 check. Start early, since fingerprinting takes time to process.

Choose an event or ongoing role below, and watch the weekly Panther Post for new needs.
Which background check do I need?
Level 2 Background Check
For parents or family members who would like to volunteer at the school, including chaperoning field trips.
After you submit your information, the next steps will be emailed to you.
Basic Background Check
For visitors who would like to attend chapel or other special events during the school day. This is for visitors only, not volunteers.
Please allow up to 48 hours to process.
Find your favorite way to help
Everyone has a favorite FCA event. Put your talents to work where you’re most passionate.
School events
Harvest Festival
A family-friendly festival and vendor fair with fall games for preschool through 3rd grade. Lots of volunteers needed!
Book Fair
Held in the school library and needs volunteers from all grade levels. The chair begins planning a month ahead; most volunteers work at least one day.
Calypso Fest
Every class, preschool through high school, runs a food or game booth. We need at least one parent from each classroom to assist the teacher.
Field Day
Lots of volunteers are needed to work with the PE teacher on outdoor events.
Teacher Appreciation
Plan the spring Teacher Appreciation Lunch and find other ways to show our teachers how much they’re appreciated.
Foundation Fathers Campout
Students and their dads camp out in tents on campus. A few moms help with cookout shopping and setup.
Labors of Love (L.O.L.)
Help run our service-a-thon.
Ongoing roles
Panther Cafe
Assist the children at lunch and serve with a smile.
Classroom Representative
One parent per classroom for PreK–5th, and two per grade for 6th–12th. Reps attend meetings during the school day and help organize events.
