Foundation Christian Academy is improving the enrollment process by transitioning to Continuous Enrollment (CE), an efficient way for our families to manage enrollment from year to year. There will be no need to re-enroll every year. Once your child(ren) enrolls, they are continuously enrolled until graduation from FCA, or until your family completes our simple opt-out procedure.
Our re-enrollment averages between 93% and 96%. Previously, each of those families had to complete the re-registration process. And while that process was not as extensive as a new student registration, it still required energy and attention by our parents and our staff.
With Continuous Enrollment, returning students will retain their seats automatically. The 4%-7% that are not returning will need to complete the opt-out process to unenroll, surrendering their seats to potential wait-listed students. This simplifies everything for both parents and our office staff.
This new enrollment format will greatly assist our families in reducing the stress of meeting registration deadlines, as well as managing yearly budgets. It dramatically enhances the efficiency of touring season by affirming the number of available seats to new families. FCA’s ability to accurately plan for the following year is also much improved: everything from ordering sufficient supplies to providing enough student desks and hiring teachers.
We hope that the Continuous Enrollment process will be a blessing to us all by
streamlining outdated registration protocol and improving our efficiency in providing
a continuity of services for all stakeholders.
